Ready, Set, Go: A Choosey Dinner with Martell

If there’s ever been a person that unabashedly believed in mixing business with pleasure, it would be me. So, with that energy, I invited my ChooseATL Influencer conglomerate to the exclusive Martell Penthouse in Downtown Atlanta for dinner and, of course - cocktails.

Once I extended the invitation I went right to work with the #HomeByMartellATL family, specifically Chef India and Shannon Evans, discussing the dining options and curating the cocktail list.

Up, at least 40 stories in the air, a table set exquisitely for 12 awaited the arrivals of the new guard of Atlanta culture. Moving the needle in concentrations from business and politics to art and entertainment, these dinner guests understood the importance of an immersive experience, much like Martell, and greeted the suite and its spirited story with unbridled excitement. The Sonos system filled the air with my special ATL soundtrack - featuring classic and current ditties from both Atlanta legends and next generation greats.

Showing true southern charm, cocktails in decadent teacups and pristine lowball glasses were passed around as finishing touches were added to the estate table that flaunted fine china in the signature Martell colors. Ladies and Gentlemen please take your seats!

As with any SceneBySatchel engagement, once everyone was seated, a toast served as the opening moment. Well manicured hands grabbed cornbread, dipped hummus and shared other delicacies while the discussion, of course, was all things Atlanta. Before the main course, another toast was delivered in tribute to Ashley Cleveland, the driving force and brainchild behind the Choose ATL brand. The night ended on a sweet note with traditional Old Fashions and homemade treats. Oh, and another toast.
